I got a sweet deal on a 60 GB video i-pod from ebay. I sold my golf clubs and am very close to selling my guitar to cover the cost, but it came just in time…I received it right before Nicki went into the hospital and it was a life saver while waiting for the doctors to do their thing. What an amazing invention, the video i-pod!

I had a blog on Myspace to get support for the middle name that I wanted for our new baby, which I am in a bad habit of calling “It”, but anyway the support was overwhelming for my choice of middle name, Micah! Therefore as time ran out and we had to make a decision it has come down to Micah, meaning who is like God…

I haven’t been able to post anything for a couple of days because I have been in the hospital with my new son being born, Tristan Micah Carnes.
As you can see he is as handsome as his daddy (Mamma’s words not mine!) and he weighed 7 LBS 15 OZ, and was 20 in. long…He was born at 8:02 am on Thursday morning via a “C” section.
I can’t wait to finally get Nicki and the family home so we can get some rest…the visitors and show of love has been great, but it doesn’t leave much room for rest so I guess that will come in a day or two.
