"Be an organ donor, give your heart to Jesus!" "It's hard to stumble when you're on your knees." "Make your eternal reservations now--- 'smoking' or 'non-smoking'?" "If you can't sleep, don't count sheep; talk to the Shepherd." "A good place for the "buck to stop" is at the collection plate" "Sin will keep you from the Bible but the Bible can keep you from sin." Sometimes I wonder what it is people are thinking when they write these phrases and post them on the church's sign. Do they things "Woo hoo! I'm winning people to Jesus here!" ? Do they pat themselves on the back for it? I have to be honest and say it's a huge turnoff for me and it would not make me eager to go there if I were not a church goer. So, yeah, for me that's the cheesiest thing I see churches do.
