Bible for Adults Only? Hong Kong thinks so…

The Good Book isn’t clean enough for Hong Kong.
Residents of the city are calling for an “indecent” label for the Bible, saying the text contains passages that are too gory for young eyes, Reuters reports.
At least 838 complaints had been registered Wednesday with the city’s Television and Entertainment Licensing authority after an anonymous Web site, truthbible.net, said the Bible “made one tremble” with its sexual and violent content, including rape and incest, the news agency reports…If the Bible is labeled indecent in Hong Kong, people over the age of 18 will be the only ones able to purchase the book, and it would have to be sold with a warning label wrapped around the book. Microsoft, the leading software company in the world, does not have the word blog programmed into its office suite dictionary. If you want to use the word without getting the little red line on your screen, you must add it yourself.

I am running 2003 Office Professional…maybe they have changed it in 2007?

Jack Bauer licensed to kill for 2 more days!!!

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) — The clock on “24” will keep ticking for two more seasons
Fox’s unusually late renewal for the Emmy-winning thriller will allow Jack Bauer to keep saving the day through the 2008-09 season, which will be the series’ eighth.
Series star Kiefer Sutherland already is locked to stay with the show through May 2009.

42 Annual Country Music Awards Update

Okay…
I don’t get it…
Charlie and Pam, his co-host, went all the way out to Vegas to receive their award for medium market personalities of the year, but they made no announcement to verbally recognize them.

I know the radio personalities are not as big of a show as the singers and performers, but they have a big audience that tuned in just to see them, so what did we get?

A small yellow announcement at the bottom of the television screen. It flashed up and was off within like 5 seconds. If it were not for TIVO I would not have caught it…it took me 5 tries to read it all.

Now if you are wandering what that said, here it is again…larger and in Black text…

42 Annual Academy of Country Music Awards
