Looking for a job!
I am currently unemployed, but have never felt so good…at least until stuff starts getting turned off!
I am still employed by God, but as far as a physical job I have nothing…
If you know of anything please send word my way…please no Amway!

God
God is the only word that I can describe what is happening in our student ministry. I have been reading the Purpose Driven Church Book where Rick talks about how a lot of times we pray that God will bless what we are doing, but we need to ask that we can be a part of what he is doing!
I was touched by this and for the past month + that has been my prayer, that God shines and that I am simply used by him in whatever He is doing!
Tonight we were at standing room only!!! We ran out of chairs and students were sitting wherever they could! We had some students show up 45 minutes early. We had a +20 Gain of students from last week to this week! Like I said…God!

Border Bash
This weekend is the biggest game in our area due to our living on the border of Georgia and S. Carolina, at least until the Georgia/Florida game.
Georgia and Carolina always play each other hard and they leave everything out on the field and that is what I love about these Games! GO DAWGS!!!

R.I.P. Crocadile Hunter
At first when I pulled the story of Steve Irwin, the crocadile hunter’s,death up on the internet I was a little shocked. After all the close calls and the dangerous stuff that he did, you start to forget that he is not invincible, you would expect for someone that is not the icon of Steve to be the one in the news with this fate, after all the icons usually escape.
Then I smiled. My thoughts were that Steve died doing what he loved most! What a way to go. Steve was passionate about what he did and he did it good. He did what he loved and he did it with passion and to me there is no better way of dieing than to go out happy.
Our prayers are with his family that they may experience God’s grace at this time in their life!
