The Countdown Begins

8 days…and Hailey Elizabeth (Stallone) Carnes will be here. The surgery date was moved up from Thursday, July 24th to Tuesday, July 22nd, which I know Nicki is excited about. Thank you for any and all prayers that everything will go smoothly. My prayer for 9 months has been that Hailey will be born completely healthy and completely whole, and that she would be smart and beautiful…selfish I know! :)

Making Room For Hailey – Update!

This is my daughter Hailey.

She is already the second most beautiful girl in the world (slightly trailing Nicki) and she is already making my opinion that girls cost more money true. Fortunately she is responsible for helping me see that we have not been as responsible financially in our first 7 years of marriage that we could have been (all my fault), so we are now making adjustments to overcome those areas and pay off some non-essential debts.

This is a huge blessing because it not only makes room for Hailey’s nursery but it allows us to pay that much debt off.
